This is what happens when you don’t think for yourself.

People should care about caring.

People are afraid to do without. Because things that weren’t before needed are now seen as something you can not live with out. So many don’t know the difference between something you actually need a something you just want.

No one needs a 56 inch flat screen tv in all four rooms of their house. In fact having a tv at all isn’t really needed. Perhaps it is only there to distract you?To fill the silence that some are afraid to sit through. Maybe the thoughts in their own head are a bit to loud. Oh how unamerican of me!

You don’t need an iphone, ipad, laptop, and desktop. That is a tad over kill with technology don’t you think? How much use do you get out of so many devices? They basically are functional of doing all the same things.

Who needs four cars when one is perfectly capable of getting you from point A to point B.
Why do some feel the need to buy a GAINT house that they aren’t possibly going to use all of those rooms anyways? Trying to keep up with the Johnson’s?

How about spending hundreds of dollars on hand bags an clothing, because of the brand? Hate to burst anyones bubble, but it’s made from the same martial basically every other clothing is, why is it worth that much more? Does it have an infinite warranty so when you rip, spill, tear or wear it to often you can refund your wasted money? No! Not to mention a lot of these expensive brands, are made in sweat shops in foreign countries, for such little pay that they can’t survive off of.

Money is the root of all evil.

I watch my friends , my family , and even strangers struggling to get by. Stressed out and wondering if they’ll have a roof over their head or food to eat next week.

I the girl barely scrapping by myself is more giving to the homeless standing outside the groceries store. As I watch a millionaire business man wearing a Ralph Lauren suit proceed to drive away in a car that could fund at the very least three shelters for the needy. Just after he shrugged them off looking to them as if they’re unworthy? When it is he who is the unworthy.

Is this because often times the rich are the most greedy? The poor are the most giving , because they know what it’s like to not have anything, even the things you need! It shouldn’t be only in the holiday seasons when we think of others, it isn’t as if their troubles melt away the rest of the year. People need to care more about other people, rather then being selfish. So before you go out and buy that expensive hand bag, or a third tv for your home that you don’t really need ,but want. Think about those who don’t have the privilege of a roof over their head, or food in their bellies.
